Asbestos-containing materials are any products that include asbestos fibers, which were commonly used in construction and various industries for their fire resistance, durability, and insulating properties. Asbestos is a group of naturally occurring minerals that can be separated into thin, durable threads. These fibers are resistant to heat, fire, chemicals, and do not conduct electricity, making them ideal for many applications.
