About Angela

PARALEGAL

Angela Roberts serves as a Paralegal and Executive Assistant at The Cheek Law Firm, where she supports attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process. Her responsibilities include case management, records collection and review, client communications, legal research, settlement administration, and firm operations.

Angela brings a diverse background in legal administration, litigation support, records management, business operations, and technology implementation. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to client service, she helps ensure that cases move efficiently while keeping clients informed every step of the way.

She earned an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and Applied Science in Business Technology from Elaine P. Nunez Community College before pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Psychology at Louisiana State University of Alexandria.

In 2027, Angela will begin pursuing her Juris Doctor as she continues her commitment to serving clients and advocating for Louisiana communities.

Outside the office, Angela is active in public service and community leadership throughout Louisiana (including 2026 candidacy for House of Representatives). She has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children involved in the foster care system, and has worked extensively in civic engagement, voter outreach, and community organizing across the state, including her role as the Executive Vice President of the Young Democrats of Greater Baton Rouge.

In recognition of her leadership and community involvement, Angela was selected as one of only five women nationwide to participate in the National Federation of Democratic Women’s ‘Women in Leadership’ Program in 2027. Her experience working directly with families, community leaders, and public officials has strengthened her commitment to helping people navigate challenging situations and access meaningful solutions.
